Unity North Organic Gardens - Food Forest & Pollinator Habitat - Cobb County

The Gaian Restoration Alliance, in partnership with Unity North Atlanta Church, Keep Cobb Beautiful, and five additional community partners, united a 40-person volunteer team to expand the existing Unity North community gardens into a thriving food forest and pollinator habitat.

Together, we transformed an additional acre of underutilized land into a productive and ecologically beneficial growing space, planting more than 70 native fruiting and flowering trees, shrubs, and perennial plants. Designed to support both people and wildlife, the project strengthens local biodiversity, provides valuable pollinator resources, and helps cultivate long-term food and ecological resilience within the community.
